iVideoCamera, $.99 After years of denying apps that would unlock video recording capability on the regular iPhone 3G (jailbroken iPhones have always been able to do it with Cycorder), Apple finally relented in December by allowing this guy to slip in the door. Although it won’t match the quality of video from a 3GS because you can only shoot at a measly 160 x 213 resolution at three frames per second,

it still might come in handy for impromptu hijinks. If paying a dollar to get something your phone should have done out of the box irritates you, send a photocopy of the bill to Steve Jobs and see where it gets you.
