ECID-SHSH iOS 4


iOS 4 is available on iTunes (9.2) for iPhones (3G and 3G) and iPod Touch (2G, 3G), an updated OS for the iPad will be provided near the end of the year?




For information about availability of this new iOS 4, it will be impossible to restore an earlier version of firmware such as 3.1.3, plus the shsh for 3.1.3 will not be signed by Saurik soon!

You can save this file by different means shsh: through Cydia, or Auto shsh  TinyUmbrella 4.00.19 (local server to restore the firmware)


Reminder: For models with a new iBoot, you must save your file shsh for your model (ECID).
You are sour and jailbroken firmware 3.1.3, its backup file shsh for Firmware 3.1.3, you can restore the firmware 3.1.3 with iTunes without error when iOS4 firmware will be available (not Restore 3.1.3 will be offered by iTunes).

For these models, when you restore a firmware, iTunes server sending a query to Apple to see if it is the latest firmware under way to restore it, thus preventing you to restore any previous firmware.

With these different methods Cydia, or self shsh TinyUmbrella 4.00.06, so you can restore an old firmware if you have signed your shsh for this firmware.

  •  This version of TinyUmbrella is able to automatically detect your ECID and thus save your file shsh for the firmware you are currently using. (He can not save the shsh an old Firmware if you have not signed before!)
  •  Save your file for your shsh ECID locally (on your computer) and server Saurik.
  •  Create a local server, which saves your file shsh (you can also put your old shsh signed for older firmware), so you can restore a previous firmware other than iOS 4.0 .
  •  The local server, works the same way as the method Saurik.
  •  The local server can optionally be blocked in a future update to iTunes.
