Sn0wbreeze is a tool for Windows of team iH8sn0w, creator of iReb, equal to the software PwnageTool for Mac users, it will permit you to customize a Firmware to jailbreak your iPhone or iPod Touch.
You can also include debs, define a root partition for Cydia, save their baseband, etc... 

Do NOT include Blacksn0w in your Custom Firmware, if not starting issues of your device ! 

• Sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 v1.5-1 is compatible with iPhone V1,3G,3GS (old iboot) and iPod Touch 1G/2G except MC series. 


• The other iPod Touch models can be jailbroken with Redsn0w. 


• Users who want to unlock and who keep intact their baseband with this software sn0wbreeze must be careful because Blacksn0w has some issues with Custom Firmware 3.1.3. Read this.

• Use Cyder 2 to install deb with all dependencies.

 

For all users already updated to Firmware 3.1.3, your baseband has changed and you can NOT go back to an old basband even if you use a custom Firmware.

iPhone 3GS

 

To avoid the issue 1600

• iPhone 3G : use iREB 3.1.2 to restore if you have somme issues with iTunes and your custom Firmware


• iPhone 3GS : to restore a custom Firmware, you must be jailbroken !


• Shutdown your iPhone


• Button ON  3 sec


• Button ON + button Home  10 sec


• Button Home only 15 to 20 sec (iPhone reboot)


• In iReb, clic on 3G model, white screen, open iTunes and restore the custom Firmware (SHIFT+Restore)

• Save baseband 04.26 or 05.11.07 : when you create a custom Firmware and then unlock Ultrasn0w or Blacksn0w.


• Root partition : define the size (where you save all applications of Cydia).


• Possible Hacktivation : activate your iPhone with or without a SIM card.
