New Software Updates for New iMac, Magic Trackpad by Apple

Apple has released numerous software updates for both the new iMac and the new Magic Trackpad.

Magic Trackpad and Multi-Touch Trackpad Update 1.0
This update adds support to Mac OS X for the Magic Trackpad and is required for its use. It also enables inertial scrolling and the three-finger drag gesture in recent MacBook and MacBook Pro notebooks. Mac OS X 10.6.4 is required before installing this update.

Apple Magic Trackpad Update 1.0 for Windows 32 bit
This update adds support for the Apple Magic Trackpad.

Apple Magic Trackpad Update 1.0 for Windows 64 bit
This update adds support for the Apple Magic Trackpad.

Mac OS X v10.6.4 Update iMac (Mid 2010)
The Mac OS X 10.6.4 Update is recommended for all users of iMac (Mid 2010). This update contains all the applicable fixes from the Mac OS X 10.6.4 Update, plus the following specific fixes for iMac (Mid 2010):

•   Resolves compatibility and performance-related graphics issues.
•   Improves compatibility with large-format SDXC memory cards.
•   Adds support for Magic Trackpad.

Mac OS X Server v10.6.4 iMac (Mid 2010)
The 10.6.4 update is recommended for all servers currently running Snow Leopard Server version 10.6.3. It includes Wiki Server Update 1.0, Safari 5 and general operating system fixes that enhance the stability, compatibility and security of your server, as well as specific fixes for:

•   CalDAV querying of email addresses with Active Directory and Open Directory servers.

•   Stability and reliability to Software Update Server synchronization.
•   Downloading of software updates by Software Update Server.
•   Creating NetInstall images which include iLife updater packages.
•   Address issues copying, renaming, or deleting files on SMB file servers.
•   Improve reliability of VPN connections.
•   Resolves compatibility and performance-related graphics issues.
•   Improves compatibility with large-format SDXC memory cards.
