The Dev-Team has released an update package on Cydia Ultrasn0w and a new version of the utility PwnageTool and redsn0w software to enable users of iPhone 3G / 3Gs baseband under version 5.14 or 5.15 only, of update version baseband of your iPhone to version 6.15 in order to Unlock with Ultrasn0w 1.2.

Preamble

•  IPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPad 3G.
•  OS 3x, IOS 4.1, 4.2
•  IDevice jailbroken only.
•  Know the baseband version and version IOS.

• Go to Settings - Information on your iPhone.

 

•  Baseband version = Prog. Modem

Ultrasn0w 1.2

Ultrasn0w Cydia Package allows you to Unlock your jailbroken iPhone, and then use any SIM card provider.

Baseband version compatible:

iPhone 4

•  01.59.00 (iOS 4x) (4.2.1 baseband preserved ios compatible)
•  02.10.04 INCOMPATIBLE yet

iPhone 3G / 3GS

• 04.26.08 (OS3x)
• 05.11.07 (OS3x)
• 05.12.01( iOS 4x)
• 05.13.04 ( iOS 4x)
• 06.15.00 ( iPad 3G )

•  The repository of Ultrasn0w defaults to the application source in Cydia.
•  Go into the "Search" tab and then type Ultrasn0w (with a zero)
•  Install package Ultrasn0w 1.2.
•  Respring or reboot your iPhone (conseillé!).

•  Ultrasn0w.1.2.deb

Your iPhone is finally Unlock any telephone operator.

iPhone 3G/3GS baseband version 5.14 or 5.15

IPhone users with their 3G/3GS baseband version is 5.14 or 5.15 should update their iOS 4.2.1 then update their baseband to 6.15 (that of the iPad 3G) to use Ultrasn0w 1.2 (this does not affect iPhone 4 )

Please note, in this case, you will not downgrade your baseband version of the future and can prevent future to restore the IOS 4.2.1 (the restoration of this iOS requires its corresponding baseband version)

To make this update
The Dev-Team is available a special version of PwnageTool: PwnageTool_4.1.3_Unlock_Edition (Mac)
And a new version of redsn0w 0.9.6b6 (Win) or redsn0w 0.9.6b6 (Mac).

•  Option to update baseband to version 6.15 for users with version 5.14 or 5.15 is baseband (iPhone 3G/3GS)
•  Option "Deactivate" to activate the push notifications and so have no worry of a significant decline in the farm.

Users whose baseband is 05.14 or 05.15, use the utility PwnageTool_4.1.3_Unlock_Edition (Mac) or redsn0w (Windows) to update your baseband to the version 06.15.

New method of activating your iPhone (all models)

•  After the jailbreak with redsn0w and after installing Ultrasn0w.
•  In Cydia, add the source: http://repo.bingner.com
•  Install packages "SAM" and "SAMPrefs"
•  Restart redsn0w and check "Deactivate"
•  Connect your iPhone to iTunes.

Note: If iTunes says invalid SIM, You Will Need to Manually select carrier appropriée The Under One Of The methods Beside "Automatic" and click there simid.

•  Go into Settings iDevice: De-activate iPhone - Regenarte SIM.
•  Connect your iPhone to iTunes.

This will allow full activation of your iPhone, and so do not lose the PUSH notification and does not concern a significant drop in the battery. Concern mentioned on this post.
