Using iTunes after Iphone 4 Jailbreak

Hi,
I am thinking to Jailbreak my iPhone 4.
Trying to remove last concerns here, so your help will be appreciated. Sorry for the number of questions

1. Can I continue to purchase/update apps via iTunes? Will sync/backup work as normal?
2. Will I permanently lose all my apps, which were installed after the jailbreak (via cydia/iTunes), if I need to restore the phone for an apple store visit? In other words, can I restore from backup and keep “official apps” only? And is it possible to re-jailbreak and restore all apps including ones from cydia?
3. What happens if I update through iTunes? Does it brick the phone until a new jailbreak is released ?
