Does Upgrading to 4.0.2 Brick my already Jailbroken Iphone ? [Q]

So I downloaded the 4.0.2 update onto iTunes (I think, not sure), and I was wondering a few things. Does iTunes automatically update my phone when I connect it? I honestly can’t remember, I don’t connect it to my computer much. If it does so, is there a way I can delete the 4.0.2 download from
my computer?
