Iphone with Nextel Service [Q]

I want to buy an iphone 4. Right now i have nextel/sprint service. I have a nextel phone with a sim card but sprint is giving problems with getting my sim card unlock. Is it possible to get the iphone with nextel service ? Thanks for your help.
