Q: Jailbreak Gone on Iphone 4 after Synchronization ?

I installed JailbreakMe and Cyndia on my iPhone 4. All worked fine until I connected iPhone to computer – it got synchronized and I guess new software/firmware was installed.
After that, Cyndia vanished from iPhone. I was trying to Install JailbreakMe again – it downloads,
but immediately after Safari crashes – just before showing “Jailbreaking…..Sit tight” screen. I was trying to download it several times, also from mirror (modmyi), but it crashes every time.
I’m thinking about restoring iPhone to factory settings, but I’d lose some valuable programs I installed from other iTunes account. Is there any other way to install JailbreakMe ?
