No Installous – Then Why Jailbreak ? [Q]

Being asked by a few of my friends whom i shared this website to, I would like to post their common question here to whoever is kind enough to enlighten me and my friends.
Since Greenpois0n jailbreak doesn’t support piracy programs like installous, what is the advantage of jailbreaking then? I understand that most of you Apple Savvy people would say that jb unleashes the full potential of the phone. Could anyone point out to me the “potentials” ? (other than having your own custom theme)

Please refrain from flaming my question. Understand that most of us (maybe only in my community) jailbreaks for the purpose of saving $ from apple apps store. Thank you ! =)
