Jailbreak Illegal in Singapore ? [Q]

I am a Iphone 4 owner who is using iPhone for fist time..! My phone is come with iOS 4.0.2…! As your instruction,I Upgraded to 4.2 without touching basband!I heard that jailbreak for 4.1 is coming soon! So I would like to ask one question! My friends who is also iPhone owner said that if I jailbreak my i phone,I will lost my guarantee although jailbreak is reversible .!Is it right? And also
jailbreak is illegal in Singapore !I’m scared to lose my guarantee..! Thanks for your kind attention..! SORRy for my english..!
