Battery Runs Out Very Fast ? [Q]

After I jailbreak and unlock my iPhone 4 , my battery runs out so fast even on just standby mode. The battery deplete to 60% in just 10 hrs at standby mode with 3G and WiFi Off and without making any calls at all. What may be the problem . I have read before jailbreaking in the
JailbreakMe site that it wont affect the battery performance , it seems the reverse is happening with my iPhone 4 . Any one knows why ?
