What Happens to Jailbreak Apps after we Restore the iPhone ?[Q]

I have a few questions that may have been answered, but If I jailbreak and purchase apps like MyWi and My3G, then have to restore for whatever reason, how would I get those apps back? Do I have to pay for them again? When I sync, where do those apps get saved, or backed up when I
sync ?
