Custom Firmwares for iOS 4.1 Jailbroken for all iDevice

Below are various different custom firmware files that were created using Pwnage Tool 4.1 download these if you are weary of creating your own. Your device MUST be in pwned-DFU mode for these firmware files to restore properly(read below). Make sure you read the description of each firmware CAREFULLY so that you know what you are installing.

*IMPORTANT* In order to restore these custom firmware files, you must use Pwnage Tool(Mac) to enter DFU mode. If you have Windows, you can now use Redsn0w 0.9.6b2 to enter pwned-dfu mode which will allow you to install the custom firmware files. You must use one of these methods in order for the restore to work or you will get iTunes errors.

NOTES :

After you install your pre-jailbroken firmware, DO NOT use a jailbreak tool like limera1n or greenpois0n. The whole point of these custom firmware files is that they come PRE-JAILBROKEN. All you have to do is shift+restore with them and when your device starts up it will already be jailbroken. If you do install one of the jailbreaks you will have to start the whole process over again.
The iPhone 3G firmware files use custom boot and recovery screens, at this time, the iPhone 3G is the ONLY device that supports custom logos. The logos used in these firmware files can be seen below:

iOS 4.1 Custom Firmwares for iPhone 4 / 3GS / 3G

Of course you know that PwnageTool 4.1 was out this week to jailbreak all iOS devices on iOS 4.1 and also preserves the baseband to keep your carrier unlock. The problem is that it's a complicated process and it only works on Windows. So, for all who suffering from those problems, we could get pre-jailbroken iOS 4.1 custom firmwares [credit goes to iPhoneHeat].

STEP 1: Download the iOS 4.1 custom firmware for your device at the end of the page. Also download and install iTunes 10.

STEP 2: Join the splited custom firmwares you downloaded using BetterZip for Mac OS X or HJSplit for Windows to make them only one .IPSW file.

STEP 3: Start iTunes and put your iPhone into DFU mode by following this steps:

• Hold Power and Home buttons for about 10 seconds
• Then release the Power button but without releasing the Home button for 10 more seconds
• Your device should now be into DFU mode

STEP 4: Now, You will have to restore your iPhone to the jailbroken custom firmware by Clicking on the iPhone icon on the left sidebar of iTunes then hold left “alt” button (“Shift” button on Windows) on the keyboard and then click on “Restore” then release the alt button, now Select the custom firmware you already download and let iTunes go in a bunch of process.

STEP 5: After your iPhone is restored and jailbroken successfully. Follow our guide posted here to unlock iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G using Ultrasn0w carrier unlock.

Required:

Installation

Here is a custom iOS 4.0.1 jailbreak for iPhone 3GS former iBoot only.
This custom has been made with a modified version of PwnagTool 4.0.1 .

•  You must be jailbroken for this custom renovated.
•  IPhone 3GS former iBoot only.
•  The restoration of this custom iOS 4 jailbroken must be done with iTunes 9.2.1
•  Determine the version iBoot.

It seems inconsistent according to the author with a custom jailbroken with Spirit, but try to install Cydia Package Spirit2pwn.

A Custom enabled is for people without the original SIM card operator in the iPhone, then restored after having managed to jailbreak custom iOS 4, finish installing Cydia with Wi-Fi then install Ultrasn0w 0.9.3.

•  Launch iTunes and click SHIFT + Restore (Windows)
•  If this does not work, go into DFU mode or Recovery before starting the restoration.

Custom iOS 4.1 jailbreak iPhone 3GS

Here is a iOS 4.1 jailbroken custom made by Mahmood.
This one is just for iPhone 3GS and have his offficielle UDID SIM Card a developer account.

It is strongly advised to have his record shsh signed for iOS 4.0 or 4.0.1 for your ECID Cydia on the server for a restore to 4.0 or 4.0.1 in the future.


Required:

•  IPhone 3GS former iBoot.
•  The best condition to be restored is already jailbroken iOS to restore this custom.
•  The sub jailbroken 3.1.3 with Spirit, must install the package Spirit2pwn
•  ITunes 9.2.1 or 9.2
•  Place your iPhone to Recovry and not DFU.
•  Launch iTunes detects a device in recovery mode.
•  Press SHIFT (ALT mac) + Restore.
•  An explorer window opens.

At the end of the installation, finish installing Cydia, make sure you have an Internet connection on 3G or wifi.

•  Install OpenSSH from Cydia as software requires connection as SSH or Winscp iTunnel.
•  Go to usr / libexec
•  Save and replace the file installdir, which is included in the file (equivalent to Appsync)
•  Then put the permission on the file 0755.
•  Ultrasn0w not compatible iOS 4.1, you must have a SIM card official!
