iPhone 5 Parts on Video?

According to BGR, a firm called GlobalDirectParts claiming to have the Apple's next generation of iPhone (iPhone 5) parts, they prepared a five-plus minutes video showing this.

We get a crystal clear look at the charging-port flex-cable and outer aluminum skeleton of the device. There are several key differences between the iPhone 4 parts and the new parts we are being shown — displayed side by side in the video — including the absence of several of the black, plastic strips on the casing. This new iPhone shell still has a micro-SIM card slot, which could mean several things: it belongs to a global CDMA iPhone, it is a slight retooling of the current GSM iPhone 4 (iPhone 4GS anyone?)
Anyway, it's expected to see and hear about such rumors, I can't confirm whether it's fake or real parts, while they are still not confirmed officially from Apple.

Skype for iPhone Finally Gets Video Chat !

We've been talking about that for about a week and it's finally here! Skype has updated their iOS appp to include video chatting feature. It works over Wi-Fi and 3G to another iPhone or to a Skype desktop user.

This update is meant for iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G since the iPhone 4 was launched back in June introducing FaceTime. Video chat is a great feature from Skype but not everyone has an iPhone 4 or iPod touch 4G.
What's New in Version 3.0
- Make Skype to Skype video calls on WiFi and 3G*
- Call Skype desktop users (Mac OS X or Windows) and other iPhone users.
- Two-way video calls supported on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4th gen.
- Receive only video supported on iPad and iPod touch 3rd gen, with no camera.
- Make video calls in portrait and landscape.
- Skype video calling requires iOS 4.0 or above.
You can update the app directly from your iOS device or get it from the iTunes link here. Let's see how do you like it!

After Jailbreaking iOS 4.2.1 with Redsn0w 0.9.7b1 Bluetooth, Music and iTunes Stuck [Warning] [Video]

Early today Dev-Team has announced the untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1 on iPhone 4, iPod touch 4G and iPad, and then we followed it by the step by step guide to use the redsn0w 0.9.7b1 jailbreak, but it looks like that we are in dire need of beta 2 for this version as some of our reader who jailbroke their devices using beta 1, have noted some errors with Bluetooth, playing music and iTunes.

This video will show you these errors clearly, you will note that the iPod touch will restart after trying to run iTunes, also the music doesn't work and a frozen Blutooth, only apps and Cydia are working well.

For now we expect that Dev-Team are recording bugs as much as possible to release a new beta version free of bugs. Check your Bluetooth, mucic and iTunes and let me know how the new jailbreak going with you.

iPhone 5 Clone Arrives 6 Months Before iPhone 5 Announcement [VIDEO]

The iPhone 5 is yet to be seen, demoed or even announced by Apple, but this hasn’t stopped a Chinese manufacturer from demoing an iPhone 5 ‘clone’. It’s very likely that the clone is not running iOS and is more likely running Android with a custom iPhone skin on it. As you can see from the picture below there has not been much imagination used, as it looks more like a thinner version of the 3GS than anything else.
Check out the video after the break t0 see iPhone 5 clone in action.

LimeSn0w to Unlock iPhone 4 With Geohot [Video]

It may be real! Geohot may surprise us (again!) with a new unlock solution for iOS 4.1 and iOS 4.2.1 on iPhone 4. The video below shows iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.1 on baseband 05.15.01 unlocked using Limesn0w solution via Limera1n jailbreak which was released a month ago. It would be a real surprise.

Of course there's a lot of users have updated to iOS 4.1 and now their devices on baseband 02.10.04 or higher which is not unlockable at the moment. So Geohot may really surprise us Limesn0w.
The domain http://limesn0w.com is registered by Geohot, the same info as http://limera1n.com but the site indicates that "This will never be real.", you know, surprises! Geohot didn't say any word about that, we'll keep you updated at any update happens.

The method only works if you have already saved SHSH blobs of your iOS device. Anyway, take a look at the video demo below and stay tuned as more updates come!

Along with the release of iOS 4.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, Apple will also push the much waited iOS 4.1 for Apple TV 2G, according to MacWorld.

According to the source, the 4.1 update introduces AirPlay for video support (i.e. users will be able to stream video from any iOS device or Mac running iTunes 10 to an Apple TV on a local network). The new version also adds VoiceOver spoken menus:
VoiceOver not only reads the name of the menu item you’re on, but it does a good job of reading metadata, including episode descriptions of TV shows. It definitely enables someone with vision problems to navigate through the Apple TV menu system.

You can do everything, starting from running apps and albums to listening to music; the zooming of images works perfect. There still no ETA for the big launch but we'll keep you updated, stay tuned.
